It's always been my intent to extend Edge Effect beyond just electronic music.
I've always been inspired by Wagner's concept of Gesamtkunst, which (in an Edge Effect
context) leads me to multi-media presentations, and so to video.
Some of my videos are intended to work as stand-alone pieces. But the main bulk
is intended to act as a backdrop for live concerts or to form part of installations.
My first videos forcussed (excuse the pun) on decaying archetecture and ancient
monuments. I then went on to play around with still-life and the (rather
contradictory) idea of using a still camera for video work. Recently I've also
been able to add a long-sought-after human element to my video work.
