- March - Andy Preston's picture "Zie Mich Aus Dem Meer" was exhibited as part of the "Water" Exhibition at The Wyvern Theatre in Swindon
- 21 March - 11 April - An extended version of The Edge Effect video Lullaby, employing "Invokation of my Daemon Sister" from What Transpires in The Flames as a soundtrack and Andy Preston's picture "Ashes" were exhibited as part of Artsite's "New" exhibition at The Post Modern in Swindon. Edge Effect also played a short impromptu set at the opening of this exhibition.
- 9 May - 30 May - Andy Preston's pictures "Hello Little Girl" and "In The Stories, The Magic Always Fades by Morning" were exhibited as part of Artsite's "Enchantment" exhibition at The Post Modern in Swindon.
- 28 July - 15 August - Andy Preston's diptych "The Boccioni Code" was exhibited as part of Artsite's "Mask" exhibition at The Post Modern in Swindon.
- 26th September - Edge Effect performed "Crossing The Abyss" at Awakenings at Paget High School, Burton on Trent, with a video accompaniment.
- 12 September - 3 October - The Edge Effect DVD "Live at Awakenings 27th September 2008" and Andy Preston's picture "Bete Auf Tageslicht" were exhibited as part of Artsite's "Autumn Salon" exhibition at The Post Modern in Swindon.
