Personal Profile

At school & college I was very interested in electronic arts but, at the time, there seemed to be better career opportunities for me in the I.T. industry so my artistic activities became limited to a spare time activity. But, by the 90s, these two pursuits began to converge as my business activities have involved less software development & more elements of digital media.

My artistic activites focus on what I call "Digital Romanticism" & are centred around an exploration of the internalised aspects of the human condition & a methodology that looks forward into the 21st century & at the same time back into the 19th.

Notable Recent Projects

From leaving college until recently I have worked in the I.T. industry: developing software for Machine control, Database applications, & two & three dimensional animation. Also preparing documentation & providing technical support

During this time, I was both self-employed & employed by Thames Water, Temple Records, New Careers Training, Kode Computers, Atek Trading, British Rail, & Total Mailing Services

In my current business I am self-employed working in electronic arts, web development, & digital audiovisual production

• 2003 - 2004 Took a major role in the development of SpiralSynthModular, a Free Software electronic music application
